You and your driver trainer are together for the whole JD Truck Training Centre period and you will work as hard or easy as that particular trainer does. That may not be too appealing to some and it isn't really too much fun. The good thing is that it is over so quickly and then you'll be on your own. Make the best of this training and you'll be fine.
Well after 5 or 6 more hours you finally get your load unloaded. This is probably 12:00 midnight by now and going on 3 days with no sleep,no eat,no shower, and guess what you still have a half hour of driving left to hopefully get into a truck stop and parked.
Truck driving school was a challenge but I did it. I have to tell you that when I got out there in the real world to start making money there was a lot of stuff that they didn't teach me. I went right through the school of hard knocks.
If we check out the technical points related to the two type of schooling then the independent school will teach you trucking lessons from scratch. They will teach you every lesson to get a successful truck driver job and fit into any truck driving company easily. The learning approach followed is general so that you can apply them wherever applicable. Whereas when you take the course from the trucking company school they will follow a customized learning pattern which is used in their trucking company to dispatch available loads. Thus you may lack the competing knowledge when compared with the independent school truck driving course.
On the other hand, properly inflated tires can let commercial HR Truck Licence drivers and their passengers enjoy a smooth and safe driving, good handling, maximum traction, fuel efficiency and longer life for your tires.
Remember, ask anything and everything BEFORE you sign the paper work. Also, take the contract home and read Hr licence every word, very carefully. If something is unclear, ask someone outside of the school. Be certain that you understand everything within the contract before signing. Once signed, you will be held responsible.
You must be able to pass a physical exam and a drug test given by the U.S. Department of Transportation. This is to ensure you have no physical conditions (or substance abuse) that will interfere with the safe handling of a commercial truck. During your employment, you will also be subject to random drug testing. You must also pass the physical exam every two years while employed as a truck driver.
